Bill Morales – President &
Chief Executive Officer
Bill has been in aviation for over 25 years. Attaining the rank
of Major in the US Marine Corps, he flew Cobra attack helicopters
during the 1980s. When not in the air, he ran squadron maintenance
organizations and learned the importance of having the right part
at the right time. While serving in the Marine Reserves during
the early 1990s, Bill learned the commercial aviation parts business
and went on to found Tracer Corporation in 1992. He added Milwaukee
Centerline and Miami Centerline, (together known as Tracer R&O)
both FAA-certified wheel/brake repair stations in 1996 and 1998.
Together, these three businesses have been recognized with the
Milwaukee Future 50 Award. Bill founded TradeAir in 1999, a pioneering
aviation e-Business recognized by Forbes as a Best of the Web
for 2000. Tracer R&O formed a joint venture with Messier-Bugatti
in early 2003—Messier-Bugatti-Tracer (MBT)—to change the landscape
in the wheel and brake repair and overhaul market.
